GrandScan's Document Scanning Process
Electronic PDFs from Your Paper Files
GrandScan's high-speed document scanning process creates
high-quality digital
images of your paper documents. Our software then converts the images into an
electronic file format (typically
PDF)
that best suits your needs. The PDF files are returned to you on a CD or DVD
that includes our free integrated search utility. The PDF files can be installed on your
network for
simultaneous access by multiple users.
We Do All the Work!
- We remove staples, clips, etc., and prep your files for scanning.
- We scan your files and convert them to PDF.
- We verify the accuracy and quality of the document conversion process.
- We index each file according to your specifications, using multiple fields.

CDs or DVDs also contain our free integrated search utility that provides instant
and
easy access to your files.

No Preparation is Necessary
We take your files as they are. Our staff carefully cleans each page by
removing staples, clips, folds, etc. to ensure an accurate and usable image.
Everything in the file is scanned including photos, sticky notes, scraps of
paper, and back sides of pages if there is content on them.
Your Files Are Always Available
During the short time that your paper files are in our
facility being processed, they are still available to you. Should you need a
file while it's in our possession, simply give us a
call and we will fax it to you or provide a secure web link to download the
scanned file.
